Sacramento Pricing

How much does junk removal cost in Sacramento?

One sofa is $126. A queen mattress is $103. A garage that’s quietly filled up for years is usually a half truck, $431. Every number below is what you actually pay in the Sacramento area — flat, quoted from a photo before anyone drives out, with carry-out, loading and disposal already inside it.

The minimum order is $75, and the quote you get already includes everything — labor, loading, disposal and tax.

The two ways a job gets priced

Name the things and you get item pricing — a fixed price per piece. If you can’t, you get truck-load pricing: you’re paying for the space it takes up.

How fullPriceRoughly
1/4 truck$241a small bedroom — bed, dresser, a few boxes
3/8 truck$338a single-car garage’s back wall
1/2 truck$431the most common cleanout size we run
5/8 truck$513a two-car garage, or a small apartment
3/4 truck$587a garage plus a patio
7/8 truck$661a full two-bedroom clear-out
Full truck$732a whole-house load

What actually moves the number here

Less than people expect. Stairs don’t change your price, and neither does same-day. What moves it is weight, volume, and where the load has to go.

Far cheaper disposal than the Bay

Kiefer Landfill takes household waste at about $61.35/ton ($45 minimum) and C&D at roughly $28.45/ton; the NARS transfer station runs nearer $89.90/ton. That’s well below Bay Area economics, and it shows in volume pricing.

Appliances go free, in small numbers

Both facilities take a small number of appliances per day at no charge as of January 2026, which keeps single-appliance jobs sensible.

Dense material

Concrete, tile, dirt and roofing price by weight rather than volume — send a photo of a masonry pile and we’ll price it correctly.

Curbside options, and where they run out

Most jurisdictions around Sacramento offer some form of scheduled bulky pickup. When your date is close and the item can sit at the curb, that’s the cheaper route.

Where it runs out is the same everywhere: it doesn’t come inside, it doesn’t do vacant units, and it doesn’t move for a closing or a lease end. Those are the jobs we take.

Sacramento pricing FAQs

Does the price change across the region?

No. Midtown, Land Park, East Sacramento, Roseville, Folsom and Elk Grove all use the same flat list.

Do you carry it out of the house?

Yes — that’s the main difference from curbside programmes, which only take what’s already outside.

Is renovation debris priced differently?

Yes, by weight. C&D tips cheaply here, so those loads price better than in the Bay Area.

How fast can you come?

Same-day is normal if you book early, at the same price as scheduling ahead.

Does tax get added to the quote?

No. A California junk removal bill from us has no tax line — the number quoted off your photo is what gets charged, and $75 is the floor.

Can you do it without me there?

Yes, as long as it’s reachable: a driveway in East Sac, a side yard gate in Elk Grove, a garage with the code. Photos come through when the load’s gone.

What does junk removal cost in Sacramento?

Prices are flat and set from your photo: sofa $126, queen mattress $103, refrigerator $164, washer $133, 42–65 inch TV $68. A quarter of the truck is $241 and the full 16 cubic yards is $732; the smallest job is $75.

Will my Sacramento quote include sales tax?

No. California sales tax applies to goods, and when the point of the job is the service — hauling your things away — the charge isn’t taxable. Your Sacramento quote has no tax line.

Why pay when the County gives me a free bulky pickup?

If you’re in unincorporated Sacramento County, haven’t used this year’s pickup, and the pile has no mirrors or treated wood and can sit six feet from everything, use it. Call us when the year’s pickup is gone, when the items are still inside, or when you need them gone this week.

Can you take old TVs and refrigerators?

Yes. TVs and monitors go to e-waste recycling because California doesn’t allow them in landfills, and refrigerators go to a recycler who recovers the refrigerant first. Both are included in the item price.

Which towns around Sacramento do you serve?

All of Sacramento County, plus the towns within about 30 miles of the Capitol: West Sacramento, Davis and Woodland; Roseville, Rocklin, Granite Bay and Lincoln; El Dorado Hills and Cameron Park; south Yuba City, Dixon and south Vacaville.

Do you work in the summer heat?

Yes, with early starts. From June through September the first windows of the day go quickly, so book a morning slot as soon as you know your date.
